Vietnam Veterans Pinning Ceremony to be held on May 30, Co-Hosted by Brown and Toomey’s Staff

EAST STROUDSBURG – Rep. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) and U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey’s (R-PA) staff will co-host a Vietnam Veterans Pinning Ceremony on Tuesday, May 30, at 3 p.m., at the VFW Post 2540, located at 546 Fawn Road in East Stroudsburg.

“At this ceremony, we want to honor our local Vietnam veterans for their service, and let them know that we remember, respect and appreciate their sacrifices,” Brown said. “If you are a Vietnam veteran, or have a family member, friend or neighbor who is, please have them contact my office and attend this meaningful event.”

Attending on behalf of Senator Toomey will be his state director, Col. Bob DeSousa. Rep. Brown and Col. DeSousa will be presenting Vietnam veterans from throughout Monroe County with a special commemorative pin in recognition of their service to our nation.
