Brown to Recognize ‘There Ought to be a Law’ Contest Student Winner

WHAT: Rep. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) will recognize the winner of her “There Ought to be a Law” Contest. This contest was open to 4th through 6th grade students in school districts represented by Brown and was designed to encourage an interest in state government. Each student was allowed to submit and explain one original idea for a new law in Pennsylvania. The winner will be invited for a tour of the state Capitol in Harrisburg.

WHO: Brown, and Stroudsburg Middle School students, faculty and award recipient’s family members.

WHEN: Friday, May 26, at 9 a.m.

WHERE: Stroudsburg Middle School, 200 Mountaineer Drive, Stroudsburg.
