Brown to Host First ‘Legislative Coffee’ on July 24
HARRISBURG – Rep. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) announced this week that as part of her ongoing efforts to discuss the state’s most pressing issues with residents of the 189th District, she will host three legislative coffee events, starting later this month.

The meetings will each be held from 10-11:30 a.m., at Brown’s district office, located at 143 Seven Bridge Road in East Stroudsburg on Friday, July 24; Friday, Aug. 28; and Friday, Sept. 25.

“The General Assembly has worked on some of the top issues currently facing our Commonwealth throughout the last several months, and I think it is important for me to meet with those who have concerns and questions about the work that is being done,” Brown said. “In late June, the House voted on a no-tax-increase budget, a public pension reform measure, a bill to get Pennsylvania out of the liquor business, and important updates to our child protection laws. I welcome those with questions and opinions to join me at these events to discuss them in more depth.”

Brown asks that those who wish to attend to register in advance by calling her district office at 570-420-8301, and indicate the number of people attending. Due to continuing state budget negotiations and the legislative schedule, these dates may need to be rescheduled.

For more information about these events, or any state-related issue, contact Brown’s district office at 143 Seven Bridge Road in East Stroudsburg, by calling 570-420-8301. Information can also be found on online at or
