Brown to Host Joint Family Expo on April 6
EAST STROUDSBURG – State Rep. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) invites families to come out for the fourth annual Family Expo that she is co-hosting with State Rep. Mario Scavello (R-Monroe), on Sunday, April 6, from noon to 3 p.m., at the East Stroudsburg Area High School South All Purpose Room at 279 North Courtland St. in East Stroudsburg.

“I invite parents to take advantage of the spring-like weather that has finally hit the Poconos and bring their kids out to enjoy our free, family-oriented event,” said Brown. “There will be plenty of activities, entertainment for the kids, and an array of useful information for parents. I began this event four years ago to focus on family needs and to ensure information for those needs was accessible.”

Entertainment will be provided by Aardvark Entertainment, Gallagher School of Irish Dancing, Spotty McGoo and Friends Puppet Show, C and K Dance Theater, and David Paskiet Marshall Arts. Vendors include representatives from local, state and federal programs, along with several local organizations.

An informational presentation by Dave Shalcross from the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General on cyber safety will begin at 1 p.m., and a presentation by Terri Stocki from Consumer Credit Counseling on sharpening your financial focus, will begin at 2 p.m.

There is no fee to attend this event. Contact Brown’s district office for more information by calling 570-420-8301.
