Brown to Join Pike County Historical Society in Showing of Veteran Documentary
12/12/2013
EAST STROUDSBURG – Rep. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) will join the Pike County Historical Society on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m., in hosting a showing of “Veteran Nation,” a 30-minute documentary that tells the story of the history of America’s veterans. The film will be showed at The Columns Museum, located at 608 Broad St., in Milford.

“I encourage residents from around the region to join us at the showing of this patriotic documentary,” said Brown. “I appreciate that the Pike County Historical Society has asked me to join them at this event.”

The film takes a look back in time, and also examines the challenges facing military personnel who are currently serving. The goal is to inspire everyone to honor our veterans of today, and remember those who are no longer with us, Brown said.

Veterans can view the documentary at no cost, as well as tour the historical society’s museum from 1-3 p.m. on the day of the showing. For more information, contact Brown’s district office by calling 570-420-8301, or visiting her website at RepBrown.com or legislative Facebook page at Facebook.com/RepRosemaryBrown.
